Public tool use

The public tools do not require an account. XML, URLs, and reports you inspect are used only to return the requested analysis.

Standard hosting logs may include request path, timestamp, response status, and IP address. These logs are used only for operations, security, and troubleshooting.

Accounts

Google sign-in is available for owner/admin access. If you sign in, Firebase Authentication may process your email address and session state so the site can recognize the account.

Public inspection features do not require sign-in.

Tool data

Pasted VAST XML is processed in your browser and by local validation routes as needed. URL fetches, media checks, click-through checks, and test beacons use server-side routes with timeouts, size limits, and private-network blocking.

SQL Syntax Lab and Python Syntax Lab practice drafts and completion state are stored locally in your browser. They are not submitted to a backend by those tools.

Shared VAST reports are temporary and expire after 48 hours. Portable report payloads strip raw XML-like fields by default.

Advertising and cookies

AdTechToolkit may use Google AdSense or other advertising partners to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also learn about opting out of some third-party vendors' personalized advertising cookies at aboutads.info.

If AdTechToolkit serves personalized ads to users in regions that require consent, such as the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, the site should use a Google-certified consent management platform before those ads are shown.

The site does not use session replay tools.

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
